- 8 Squares Dark 100% Cocoa Baker’s Chocolate
- 2 Squares Semi-Sweet Baker’s Chocolate
- 2-4 teaspoons honey, depending on how sweet or bitter you like your chocolate
- 3/4 Cup Whole Milk, at room temperature
- optional:biscuits, cinnamon powder, bourbon etc..
Create a double boiler, by setting a stainless steel or glass bowl over a saucepan filled with simmering water. Melt down the chocolate pieces in the top of double boiler, stirring constantly until the chocolate is melted.
Place the steeped milk over medium low heat and pour in the melted chocolate. Add the honey continuously stirring until it’s one fluid mixture and becomes very warm. Add a pinch of salt. Optionally add biscuits, cinnamon and bourbon at the end, when mixture is completely incorporated. You can add them all together or separate depending on your taste.
As soon as the milk is about to boil, pour it into cups. Squirt a swirl of cream over the chocolate if you want. Remaining biscuits can be added on top to decorate.
